Missions and Outreach
  • Family Promise – We are one of a number of Oahu churches participating the Family Promise Program to provide food and housing on a rotating basis to families needing support to get back on their feet.
  • River of Life – Our church is a regular participant in downtown Honolulu’s River of Life Mission’s outreach providing meals and worship services for the area’s economically disadvantaged and homeless.
  • Keola Hoonanea Senior Residence – United Church of Christ is one of four churches who own and operate the Keola Hoonanea Senior Residence, a residence for low income seniors in the Liliha-Palama neighborhood.
  • Visitation Groups – One Kalakaua, Maluhia Hospital, Shut-ins, etc.
  • Good News Jail & Prison Ministry – The Oahu Council of this international organization is a partner in our annual luau and has on a number of occasions been a beneficiary of the luau.
  • Chuukese Christian Church of Honolulu – Our Mackenzie Building is a worship site for the Chuukese Church of Honolulu, a newly established church in the Oahu Association United Church of Christ.
  • Denominational Programs – We are an active participant in the Hawaii Conference United Church of Christ and the Oahu Association United Church of Christ and among the churches recognized as a “5 for 5” church contributing to all of the denomination’s special missions.   • Pali Preschool - One hundred fifty children, ages 3-5, attend our Christian preschool and junior kindergarten, which is open to all children. Scholarships are available. Click here to visit the Pali Preschool site!
